Each year, ISHA's Public Information, Marketing, and Membership Committee secures a Governor's Proclamation signifying the month of May as Better Hearing and Speech Month. This proclamation brings awareness to the 46 million Americans that are affected by communicative disorders. It also recognizes the impactful work that speech-language pathologists and audiologists do for the individuals they serve.
