Illinois Speech-Language-Hearing Association Announces Paul Doggett as Executive Director

CHICAGO, IL – November 6, 2024 – The Illinois Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ISHA) has announced Paul Doggett as Executive Director, effective November 1, 2024. 

Bryan White, ISHA's outgoing Executive Director, has played a pivotal role in strengthening ISHA and expanding its impact since 2018.White will remain with the Association as Senior Advisor, providing ongoing strategic support.  

“Paul has provided tremendous support to me for the past six years, and I’m thrilled for the opportunity to hand ISHA off to someone that truly knows the organization. He has been leading ISHA’s day-to-activities for the past year, so this is a seamless next step and I’m excited for Paul and ISHA.” White says.  

Doggett has shown effective leadership in his most recent role as Program Director by executing and implementing various initiatives for member engagement, professional development, and advocacy.With eight years of experience in association management, he is strategically positioned to step into the Executive Director role.  

"ISHA holds a special place in my heart. I began my journey with ISHA in 2016 as an Associate in the Exhibit Hall, and in 2018, I was honored to take on the role of Program Manager. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with our Executive Board and Committee Members, and my passion for this Association has only deepened. ISHA has profoundly shaped my professional growth, and I am thrilled to embark on this next chapter. I look forward to continuing our impactful work together!” Doggett says.
