Early Intervention
ISHA’s Early Intervention (EI) Committee works to provide up-to-date information to currently credentialed speech-language pathologists and audiologists as well as serving as a resource for professionals interested in becoming early intervention providers.
In the state of Illinois, professionals that provide services to children aged birth to three years old are required to have an early intervention credential, which is issued through the Illinois Department of Human Services by its designee, Provider Connections. This credential allows professionals to provide early intervention services to children birth to three years of age that are eligible for Part C Early Intervention Services and bill the EI Central Billing Office (CBO).
ISHA’s Early Intervention Committee has compiled a list of helpful links for prospective and current early intervention providers.
